What is Software as a Service (SaaS)?

Think of Software as a Service (or SaaS) as a subscription. It refers to software applications and services that are provided to business users rather than as a packaged product to be purchased and installed by the business user.

What advantages does SaaS provide?

The SaaS model allows a small business to afford quality document imaging software. Since the cost of the ES Imaging is paid on a monthly basis, it is just as affordable as any other utility bill. And there are no up front fees.

What are the network requirements of SaaS?

ES Imaging is accessible over the Internet. A high speed Internet connection is desirable for optimal performance of downloading and uploading files and images.

How do we access ES Imaging?

With SaaS, you access your images using the assigned individual userid and password with a standard web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, etc) from the Internet. The system is also accessible from an AIR application which can be installed on individual computers. Since the browser is bypassed, memory overhead decreases and viewable area increases (no large toolbars at the top of the screen). Both types of access are included in the SaaS pricing.

Since ES Imaging is available via the Internet, is our information secure?

Yes. ES Imaging utilizes standard 128-bit encryption via SSL. If necessary, confidential files can be encrypted in the system with a password. Only those that know the encrypted file's password will be allowed to view the file, protecting access from the administrator and Everlast Software staff.

Does the monthly subscription fee include support?

Yes. 10 hours of annual support are included in the pricing. Additional support needs can be accomodated for an additional fee.

How are ES Imaging software updates handled?

Software upgrades are included in the monthly subscription fee and require no effort on your part. Updates are automatically downloaded through the browser or AIR (for more details visit Adobe Air).

What are the various contract term options available?

ES Imaging offers a one, two and three year term. Pricing is based on these terms and can be calculated for your specific business users at ES Imaging Pricing.

What if we decide to purchase the software after our term has expired?

We offer a discount of 25% for a one year term completion and a 50% discount for a two or three year term completion. These discounts are based on the price at the time of purchase.

How do we begin the subscription process for ES Imaging?

Visit ES Imaging Pricing and select the "Subscribe to Online Services - Everlast Software hosts" tab. Next, click the “Subscribe” button and Everlast Software will contact you via email to finalize and customize your subscription.
