ES Imaging Purchase Frequently Asked Questions
How does purchasing ES Imaging licenses compare to obtaining ES Imaging Software as a Service (SaaS)? 
When ES Imaging licenses are purchased, the software is stored on your server(s) and accessible on your network (optionally over the Internet as well).  With SaaS, the software is installed on the Everlast Software's network and accessible over the Internet.
What advantages does purchasing licenses provide over SaaS? 
From a long term financial perspective the purchase of ES Imaging is more cost effective.  Performance will also be greater when installed on your server(s) since local network access is faster than the Internet.
What are the network requirements of SaaS? 
ES Imaging is accessible over the Internet.  A high speed Internet connection is desirable for optimal performance of downloading and uploading files and images.  
How do we access ES Imaging? 
You access your images using the assigned individual userid and password with a standard web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, etc) from the Internet.  The system is also accessible from an AIR application which can be installed on individual computers.  Since the browser is bypassed, memory overhead decreases and viewable area increases (no large toolbars at the top of the screen).  Both types of access are included in the license purchase pricing.
Since ES Imaging is available via the Internet, is our information secure? 
Yes.  ES Imaging utilizes standard 128-bit encryption via SSL.  If necessary, confidential files can be encrypted in the system with a password.  Only those that know the encrypted file's password will be allowed to view the file, protecting access from the administrator and Everlast Software staff.
Is support included in the pricing? 
Yes.  If more than 20 licenses are purchased, remote installation, setup and training (up to 10 hours) is included.

If less than 10 licenses are purchased, remote installation is included.  A fee of $1,000 will be charged for setup and training.

Annual maintenance includes version updates and up to 20 hours of support, regardless of the number of licenses purchased.
How are ES Imaging software updates handled? 
Software upgrades are included in the pricing and require no effort on your part.  Updates are automatically downloaded through the browser or AIR (for more details visit Adobe Air).  
How do we begin the purchase process for ES Imaging? 
Visit ES Imaging Pricing and select the "Buy - Install on your server(s)" tab.  Next, click the “Purchase” button and Everlast Software will contact you via email to begin the procurement process.
